Career History

ALUMINIUM FABRICATION & BOAT-BUILDING

July 2015 - present

For the past 7 years, I have been a casual employee by Black Label marine, working in boat construction and aluminium fabrication.

C.A.D DESIGN

August 2017

I did a week of computer-assisted drafting for a Naval Architect firm, as part of a work experience program. This culminated in me designing an exhaust outlet for a vessel in SolidWorks, which was later put into manufacture, and used on said vessel without issue.
I also did some RhinoCAD during this time.

VOLUNTEERING AT THE CALAMVALE LEOPARDS FOOTBALL TEAM.

April 2016 - September 2018

I did two years of volunteer work for the Calamvale Leopards Football club, primarily working within the canteen, but also occasionally taking scoreboard, boundary and water running duties.

LIASION AND MARKETING FOR WEST END FILM FESTIVAL

August 2022

I worked on the organisation and promotion of the XR panel for the West End Film Festival this year. For this role, I created promotional materials, ran key information to panellists and guests, ran promotional campaigns through Humanitix, Facebook and Discord, and did chat moderation for the actual panel itself, after it had to be moved to Zoom due to one of the panellists contracting Covid-19. I also did general set-up and clean-up for the other panels being run as well.
